Operation Menashe: why are you not involved yet?
“After 2,700 years we have the opportunity to bring the Bnei Menashe back to our people and to our land. So why do so many of you sit on the sidelines and not get involved?” Those were the words of Shavei Israel Chairman Michael Freund in a Facebook post at the end of 2016.
As Shavei Israel launches the latest iteration of Operation Menashe, with the aim this time to help 700 Indian Jews make aliyah in the coming year, Michael spoke to Kol Israel’s English language news about the coming immigration and how Jews from around the world can lend their support.
