Sukkot highlights from all over the world
Now that the Sukkot holiday is over, let’s take a look at all the wonderful prayer services, parties, celebrations and other beautiful events that happened last week in different parts of the world. Be ready to see a lot of pictures – from South America to Poland, from Portugal to Russia; Shavei Israel communities shared with us their unforgettable memories of Sukkot with family and friends.
The communities of Bogota, Cali, Bucaramanga, Barranquilla, Villavicencio and other locations in Colombia celebrated Sukkot with rabbi Shimon Yehoshua, the Shavei’s emissary in Colombia.
In El Salvador, two communities of the capital city San Salvador and smaller city of Armenia, also enjoyed building sukkah and celebrating together with rabbi Elisha Salas.

The community of Chile gathered together for holiday davening, meals and performing mitzvah of blessing over the lulav and etrog with Shavei Israel’s emissary Rabbi Avraham Latapiat.

From Latin America let’s move to European communities. Previously we shared with you some amazing pictures of the sukkah in Beit Shemesh built by the members of local Subbotnik Jewish community. Here you can see how people celebrate Sukkot in the town of Vysoki, Southern Russia, where most of Beit Shemesh Subbotniks still have relatives and friends.
In Belmonte, Portugal, another one beautiful sukkah was built by local Bnei Anousim.
One more sukkah of the community of Palma de Mallorca.
