‘Chalakah’ in San Salvador
One more magnificent and emotional event that took place in San Salvador in September was chalakah of little Yitzchak – a traditional ceremony of a haircut for a boy when he turns three years old. In accordance with a custom, Yitzchak’s family organized a beautiful celebration together with the local community and Shavei Israel’s emissary in El Salvador, Rabbi Elisha Salas.
