A brit milah in Guatemala

With a lot of joy, I would like to share the news that we had our first brit milah this past sunday, Juan’s baby boy David, came to this world prematurely, but he has been a blessing to the whole community!

Some miracles have happened, one being the great relationship that we have with the traditional local Jewish community. The local rabbi, who is also a mohel, performed the brit milah on David. Several members of the traditional community were invited.

They davened shacharit (morning prayers) with us all together before the brit milah. It was a great feeling, all brothers praying together in harmony.
